| Ha, ha, don`t ask me Little Flower, you are a native German speaker not me. How I see it is that the price is for photos, not the article and what I think they meant is that if other press agencies want to use those photos they should pay 80 CHF for one and 60 CHF for the second and every additional photo. But that is just my opinion. | |

| Mother said no problem Boris! Very rough trans of body of text:
That the program of his visit to Switzerland is a crowded one, does not seem to matter to him. According to Piero Marini he enjoys meeting people and the changes it (has) brought. And one can beleive this, as he comes accross as a friendly relaxed gentleman in his 60's with much to say.
Foundation for Reforms For over 40 years Marini was engaged in the renewal of liturgy. The most interesting part of the work took place directly after Council. It was then that the foundations for further reform were laid. Nowadays the renewal of liturgy no longer has the same importance
His retirement from office he wants to be interpreted within a wider context. According to him a change of office was long since over due, but an ageing and ailing pope made that impractical. Mentioning liturgy, Marini gives his attention to people. Liturgy for him is essentially community. Therefore people must be offered the opportunity to participate. The vernacular, indiginous traditions as regards clothing, gestures and movement assure the foundation of the native culture of a country.
Caution with the symbols of the past The Archbishop warns that nowadays one must be careful not to introduce symbols of the past because they are no longer understood. He also is cautious when it comes to instructiosn from above. It is understood, as far as he is concerned, that tradition must be accepted. As Papal Master of Ceremonies, Marini reformed the Papal liturgy in accord with principles of the Council, which is to say that he stripped it (purified it) and enriched it with liturgical symbols that were meaningful. Marini is certain of one thing. Liturgy will remain the same, because its unchanging priciples were laid down by the II Vatican Council. Liturgy proclaims the Word of God and that cannot be rewritten! | |
