I am sooo happy you joind this forum. It is great somebody is interested in churches and art itself. There are so many things to see. You could live in Rome for a year and still you didn't see all. I hope I can find as many information as possible. I would like to go through Sant Peter's step by step, write something about each statue, painting, mosaic... Fascinating for me is, that each piece of art is about history, art and God. Sadly, modern religious art is missing high artistic value. Why is that?
