I am sure our dear Archbishop would join us....

Let's join in prayers for the victims and survivors of the devastating earthquake in Haiti , as well as for the people who are working there helping them.

And, hopefully, the Archbishop gets his Cardinal's hat by then. I swear they're going to wear him out with all that waiting. But what I admire the most about Piero is his strong sense of patience. Persistence! Very Happy

From Zenit : http://www.zenit.org/article-28403?l=english

The annual seven-day spiritual exercises for the Pope and the Curia begin Sunday.
Mindful of the Year for Priests currently under way, the meditations will be preached by Salesian Father Enrico dal Covolo . Since 2002, he has been a consultor for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith etc...
Participating in them, in addition to the Holy Father and the papal household, are cardinals and superiors of the different dicasteries.

I wonder if Mons. Piero Marini will participate, I'd like him to.

Wishing you all a happy feast of St Joseph and of His Excellency's consecration as a Bishop.
He was at the retreat, you can see him sitting humbly at the end of the back row on this video on the Vatican You Tube channel
