Dear friends,
I just found you - and I am struggling with the site navigation - but it is a great joy! I pray for the Archbishop every day, because he is one of God's own!
Supporting you in faith and prayer,
your little Sister

Thank you dear Vanadija,
Please how do I get an Icon to appear by my entries?
I came to pray for the Archbishop in a rather odd way. When I was a novice, a Monsignore from Rome who worked very closely with our late beloved Pope John Paul visited our Monastery and he asked if one sister would take him on and pray for him every day. I felt that I should try to do it! When he went to the Lord in 1989 I looked for someone else to pray for daily with the Holy Father and I saw this rather tall, deeply anxious man who stood next to him and the Lord said, "You had definitely better pray for him!" So I did. I did not know who he was, or even that he was a priest (let alone a Bishop). I have prayed for him ever since. I only learned his name at the one of the Great Jubilee Masses!

Dear Fidelis,

Thank you kindly for praying for our dear Archbishop Piero Marini and for describing him the way you do. Indeed he is one of God's own, very much so.
He is an angel too.
I am sending you a private message.

Welcome to the forum dear, I am delighted to have you with us !

What a lovely story Fidelis, you began to care for dear Piero in a very special way. It is really nice and I`m glad to know you pray for him daily. Thank you for that.

On a technical note, I can tell you that in order to have an avatar (an icon beside your name), you have to go to the Profile window and choose Avatar option, then decide if you are going to select one from the Gallery or Browse your own computer to upload it from there. I hope I was of help. Very Happy

Dear Fidelis yes, we will pray for all our dear ones and the dear ones of our Archbishop Piero. We should not forget his brother Carlo who died when he was young . He was Mons. Marini oldest brother, ten years older than him.

Fergelts Gott, kleine blaume! A kind friend got our community a copy when she was on Holiday in Bayern. We also have a copy of the canonization of the Missionary founders Comboni, Freinedermetz and.Jansen, which was one of Archbishop's most beautiful liturgies. (I think one of our Really media friendly Sisters could copy it!) We are an international community, some of my dear Sisters are from the Homeland and I speak German badly and can't spell in any language!!!!!!!! God must have some very special purpose for our Archbishop that he has got us all together to pray for him like this!
Der Herr ist mit Dir, kleine Schwester!

Thank you Little Flower !
I think, we must all have that great documentary from the German TV. Even "poor me" who because I don't understand a word of German, I have not idea what are they tallking about during the whole documentary. I listen real carefully when our Archbishop and his brother Remo are talking in Italian but even that is not good because right away the German translation is on, so I don't get that much. Sad
Vanadija , kindly has given me some hints though.

Wow Fidelis you speak German too, so I am the only ignorant in the whole group , ha, ha. Embarassed
Fergelts Gott, kleine blaume!
Fergelts Gott, kleine blaume! what does it mean ?
I would love to be able to watch the canonization of the Missionary founders Comboni, Freinedermetz and.Jansen, since is one of the Archbishop's most beautiful liturgies.

By the way Fidelis, I love your avatar , it's sooo cute !

No, Shyerenai, as far as I know there is nothing wrong with his health, thanks God! What Little Flower probably meant is that he should not exaggerate with his work etc..... but for the time being it looks like the traveling does him good, I even have the feeling he rather enjoys it. Very Happy Now he will slowly be on his way to Freiburg. Btw, does anyone have a subscription here: http://www.kipa-apic.ch/index.php?pw=&na=0,0,0,0,f&ki=201089 ?

I really like your avatar Fidelis! And yes, same as Boris I would also love to see the video of the canonization. I bet it is really nice and touching, as all his liturgies. Very Happy

Oh... thank God he's well.

He reminds me of Pope John Paul and all his travelling. He definitely adopted his style. Smile

No, I don't have a subscription to that site. That site is cool! He looks very suave in that photo.
