What you have to see for sure is very mosaic of Saint Paul, the old piece which was taken from the catacombs and now it is desplayed as a "picture" outside the basilica. Sadly I cannot find any picture of it. Does somebody have it?

I believe it is hanging somewhere on the wall on your way to catacombs. It looks almost like painting. It's beautiful.
